Privacy Policy
Runwell Network, a division of AWLCo Limited, LLC ("Runwell", "we", "us", or "our"), operates the website at runwellnetwork.com, the Nearside mobile application, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect, and allow you to delete information in connection with the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through the Services, including the Nearside app. It does not apply to information collected by third parties we do not control, including other websites, services, applications, or the providers and resources listed in Nearside.
Nearside is an informational directory. It helps people find local behavioral health and social-service resources. It is not a healthcare provider and does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) about your conditions or treatment. Any PHI handled through other Runwell products subject to HIPAA is governed by the applicable Business Associate Agreement and HIPAA Notice, not by this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information if you choose to create an account — your email address and/or phone number used to sign in
- Resources you save or bookmark in Nearside
- Name, organization, or the content of any inquiry you send us (e.g., via our website contact form)
- Any other information you voluntarily provide
You can use Nearside anonymously. An account is never required to find help.
2.2 Location information
With your permission, the Nearside app accesses your device's approximate or precise location to show resources near you. You can decline location access and search by ZIP code instead, or use the app without it. We use your location to query our resource database for nearby listings; we do not sell your location, and we do not use it for advertising.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and app information (device type, operating system, app version)
- IP address and general geolocation derived from IP
- Usage and diagnostic data (features used, performance, errors), including via analytics services such as Google Analytics on our website
2.4 Information from third parties
Resource listings in Nearside are compiled from public and authoritative sources, including SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov and state and county behavioral-health agencies. This is information about service providers, not about you.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including finding resources near you
- Create and maintain your single Runwell Network account across our products
- Remember the resources you save
- Respond to inquiries and requests
- Conduct research and analytics using de-identified or aggregated data
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
We may use de-identified or aggregated information, which cannot reasonably identify you, for any purpose.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information:
- Service providers: vendors that host, support, or analyze the Services on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Within Runwell: across Runwell Network products tied to your single account.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights or property, or prevent harm.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- With your consent.
When you call or text a resource or crisis line from Nearside, that communication goes directly to the provider or line; we are not a party to it and do not receive its contents.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Location: grant or revoke location access anytime in your device settings.
- Notifications: control notifications in the app's Account Settings and your device settings.
- Access and correction: contact us to access or correct your account information.
6. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time:
- In the app: open Profile → Account Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and associated data across the Runwell Network.
- On the web or by email: visit runwellnetwork.com/delete-account or email support@creadio.com from your account email to request deletion.
We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain records.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
